STORMFORGE PLAYTEST AND DEMO END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

Effective date: July 27, 2026

Reading license agreements is nobody's favorite part of trying a game, so we've kept this short and in plain English. This agreement covers every free playtest, beta, and demo version of Stormforge that we make available on Steam, now and in the future (each, a "Test Version"). By clicking "I Agree," or by installing or playing a Test Version, you agree to these terms.

1 WHO WE ARE

Roboto Games, Inc. ("Roboto," "we"), a Delaware corporation, PO Box 88, San Mateo, CA 94401. Contact: support@robotogames.com.

2 YOUR LICENSE

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play Test Versions on your PC through Steam, for your personal, non-commercial use. Stormforge is a premium game: Test Versions are free to play, and there is nothing to buy in them.

3 tEST VERSIONS ARE NOT THE FINISHED GAME

Test Versions are works in progress. They will have bugs, missing features, and rough edges. They are provided "AS IS," without warranties of any kind. Your progress, characters, worlds, and saves may be changed, reset, or deleted at any time, and nothing carries over between Test Versions or into the released game unless we say otherwise. We may modify, suspend, or end any Test Version, or revoke access, at any time for any reason. Playing a Test Version does not entitle you to the final game.

4 pUBLIC AND PRIVATE TESTS

Some Test Versions are public and some are private, and we will tell you which kind you are joining when you get access. Public playtests and demos are exactly that: you are welcome to stream them, make videos, post screenshots, and talk about them. See our Streaming and Content Policy at robotogames.com/streaming. If we designate a Test Version as private, or if you accepted a separate confidentiality agreement to join it (for example, through our private playtest program), you may not stream, record, share, or discuss that Test Version until we make it public or tell you otherwise, and that confidentiality agreement controls if it conflicts with this section.

5 gAMEPLAY DATA

The purpose of playtests and demos is learning what works. While you play, the game sends us gameplay analytics (such as game events, session length, features used, and your in-game progress), technical data (operating system, device model, CPU, GPU, memory, graphics API), your Epic Online Services account identifier, your country, and crash and error logs. We use this to improve the game, and we do not sell it. Details, including your choices and rights, are at https://playstormforge.com/privacy.

6 YOUR FEEDBACK

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant Roboto a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use them for any purpose, without compensation or attribution. This lets us use your suggestions to improve the game.

7 tHINGS YOU CREATE

You own original content you create in or about a Test Version. You grant Roboto a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with Stormforge. Anything that includes our assets, code, or other intellectual property remains ours. You may not sell or charge for content made with our assets or tools without our prior written consent.

8 FAIR PLAY

Do not cheat, exploit, use unauthorized programs, disrupt other players' experience, or harass anyone. Stormforge does not install anti-cheat software on your PC. We may suspend or remove players who break these rules.

9 ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and have a Steam account in good standing. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and accept these terms for you.

10 CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

If we make material changes, we will give prominent advance notice, such as a Steam announcement or an in-game notice, with an effective date, and Steam will ask you to accept the updated terms before you next play. Minor changes take effect when posted.

11 GENERAL LEGAL TERMS

Roboto's total liability to you in connection with any Test Version is limited to fifty US dollars ($50). You will comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement; where these terms conflict with the Roboto Games Terms of Service (robotogames.com/terms), these terms control for the Test Versions. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If you have a problem, please email support@robotogames.com first. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you within 30 days before either party files any claim. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in San Mateo County, California, or the federal courts of the Northern District of California, and you and Roboto each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity (not as a class member) and waive the right to a jury trial. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.
